**What you’ll build**



Within the BTP ABAP Kernel team, our mission is to uphold the SAP platform as a robust and reliable foundation for numerous business applications.

In this role, you will assume responsibilities for SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol).

You will engage directly with technically proficient representatives from the customer side from all around the globe, analyzing their requests and issue reports to deliver effective improvements that you will develop using ABAP.

You will design, implement, and run tests to ensure quality and reliability and you will document your changes.

Over time, you are expected to become a driving force for innovation within your areas of expertise, actively influencing the continued evolution and enhancements of the platform, helping the world run better and improving people’s lives



**What you bring**



+ Expert knowledge of both ABAP and XML

+ A strong ability to navigate complexity: You excel at abstract and analytical thinking, with well-developed skills in structuring tasks and solving problems.

You can navigate in abundance of information sources.

+ Experience with CI/CD environment is a plus

+ Collaboration among team members

+ Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction

+ Fluent language proficiency in English, ability to speak in German and Czech is welcome
