  We are looking for a Senior Engineer - Contractor, who will focus on mainly controls  and embedded software development primarily in the Aerospace, Automotive and newly in Electrical systems domain.
This person will design, develop, test and validate SW architecture, SW model-based design and control algorithms, embedded software and applications according to respective functional safety standards and leveraging global trends in electrification, digitalization and sustainability.  
 
  As a member of a global team, this engineer will be part of the product lifecycle from the start, up to certification, product launch and further product development.
 
  
 
  Key responsibilities:
 
  
 
  - Designing and developing software architectures, controls, embedded software and applications.
 
  - Designing industrial controls incl.
advanced control methods.
 
  - Defining requirements (performance, safety and reliability).
Perform tracebility.
 
  - Developing validation and verification test plans at various levels.
 
  - Debugging and testing.
 
  - Working with team members and the engineering manager to estimate development, resources and timing.
 
  - Supporting product development after product launch to match developing market needs.
 
  - Aiming to improve efficiency, safety and quality.
 
  - Interacting with stakeholders.
Conduct project reviews and make presentations.
 
  - Documenting all development activities.
 
  - Position generally does not require travel - only rare exceptions.
