System Support Controls Engineer
We are looking for a skilled Controls Engineer to join our on-site support team, focusing on SCADA monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting of automation systems for Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
You'll support PLCs (Siemens, Beckhoff), VFDs, communication networks (ProfiNet®), and related infrastructure to ensure high system uptime.
What You’ll Do:
Act as SCADA expert within the Control Room
Troubleshoot PLCs, drives, ProfiNet® networks, and controls hardware
Monitor system performance and diagnose issues in real-time
Support remote fault-finding with Maintenance & Engineering teams
Escalate complex incidents and ensure documentation
Help optimize system reliability and performance
Ensure compliance with HSE and technical procedures
What You Bring:
3–4 years in industrial automation or controls support
Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLCs (Siemens, Beckhoff), and VFDs
Experience with Siemens TIA Portal and industrial networks
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or equivalent experience
Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
Willingness to work shifts and support additional sites if needed
